Gregory Paul Harvel

January 9, 1961 — October 8, 2021

Gregory Paul Harvel was born on January 9th, 1961 to James E. and Maxine Tyndall Harvel in Columbus, Ohio. He passed, surrounded by his closest loved ones, on October 8th 2021 in Columbus. He was known by many friends and loved ones as "Bud."

Bud grew up in Westerville, Ohio. He attended Westerville North High School class of '79. After graduation, Bud pursued a career in plumbing and well work. After many years in the industry, Bud achieved his goal of opening his own company "Bud's Plumbing Service and Repair." He was a resident of Mt. Sterling, Ohio

Bud was an avid outdoorsman. When he was not running his plumbing business you could find him hunting, fishing, golfing, or enjoying a nice evening on the front porch with his closest friends and dog, Ruger. Bud was a light to many. His witty sense of humor and endless jokes could make anyone smile. He was the president of the Cook Yankeetown Road Club. He was the most excited to become Papaw and welcome his first grandbaby in the spring of 2022.

Bud is survived by his partner and love of his life, DeeDee Kluczynski. Son, Bryan Harvel and wife Jacee. Son, Logan Harvel and Bonus Son Chris Kluczynski. Brother Charles E. Harvel and wife Gabi. Brother, Danny Harvel and partner Linda. Sister, Tammy Harvel Bolin and husband John. Numerous nieces and nephews and many life-long friends. He is preceded in death by his Father, James Edward Harvel and Mother, Maxine Tyndall Harvel.

A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. Bud is forever in our hearts.
