Gregory E. Love, 70, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2020 due to Covid-19 and complications from Parkinson Plus disease at the Laurels of Walden Park, Columbus, Ohio.
Greg was born on October 26, 1950. He lived in Columbus and then Grove City where he resided until moving to Brookdale Assisted Living in Groveport, Ohio.
A 1968 graduate of Brookhaven High School, he was a drum major in the marching band and played clarinet. Greg received a degree in Business Accounting at Franklin University, He was a devoted employee of the Big Bear and Giant Eagle grocery stores for over 40 years, where he loved talking with the customers. After retiring, he became a part time blackjack dealer at the Hollywood Casino. He was a great cook and loved trying recipes from the Cooking Channel to the delight of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Pat Love; brother, Gary; Grandparents, Helen and Rubin Love. He leaves behind two brothers, Michael (Therese) Love, Robert (Jane) Love; nephew, Christopher Love, D.C.(Jennifer); and great niece, MaKenzie. Uncle Jake (Kate) Mayer and long time second family Phyllis, Rema, and Anna Monaco. He also leaves many cherished cousins and friends.
