Gregory Dennis Thomas

Gregory Dennis Thomas, age 70, passed away peacefully at his home in Buckeye Lake, Ohio on Friday December 8, 2023 at 10:10pm following a long fought battle with head and neck cancer.

He was born November 12, 1953 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Nelson Luther Thomas and Gladys Rosellen Hesson. He was proceeded in death by them and his brother Ricky.

He is survived by his wife Victoria Alice Thornsley who he married April 11, 1981. He is also survived by his son Aron (Beverly) Thomas of Buckeye Lake, Ohio, Daughter Angela (Jay) Keeney of Marengo, Ohio, sisters Dianna (Mike) Atkinson of Hendersonville, North Carolina and Renee Haney of Marion, Ohio, brother Karl Thomas of Columbus, Ohio, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Donald and Linda Thornsley of Canal Winchester, Ohio, aunt in-laws Margaret Martin and Sheila Allard, grandchildren Damien (Brook), Brittney (Garret), Jesse (Ty), Jayson, Sierra (Morgan), great grandsons Eithan, Marshall, Dante & Axel, great granddaughters Elliot and Cameron as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends, his karaoke family, church family and dog Brady.

He is a Honorably Discharged Veteran of the U.S. Army Vietnam Conflict, he repaired the Chinook Helicopters.
He retired in 2013 and had worked as an auto worker, locksmith and silk screen printer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling, karaoke and sitting by the fire pit.

He is a member of Grace Lutheran Church and a member of the Fraternal Order Of Eagles 2801.

Friends and family may call at the NEWCOMER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 3047 East Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43231 on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 11:00am to 1:00pm with the funeral service to follow at 1:00pm Pastor Tom Jacobson officiating. Interment to follow at Blendon Central Cemetery.
