Grover Pinkerton

Grover Wilbur Pinkerton 63, went to be with the Lord May 18, 2004 at his home after a brief illness of cancer of the liver. Grover is the son of the late Ellis E. Pinkerton Sr. and Virginia M. Pinkerton. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Juanita Pinkerton who was by his side at time of death, five children: Wilbur (Karen) Pinkerton, SSG Christopher D. (Rosie) Pinkerton , Michelle (Timothy) Reef , Keri Pinkerton and Nathaniel Pinkerton, two step daughters: Dana Patterson and Alisha Sharp, two grandsons: Ellis Pinkerton and Tyler Pinkerton, four step grandchildren, one brother: Ellis (Karen) Pinkerton Jr. of Columbus, three sisters: Mabel Reeves of Ashland, Kentucky, Betty (Fredrick) Herdman, and Della (Harold) Adams both of Columbus, Ohio, also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and one Aunt Minerva Queen, plus many friends. Grover was Christian. He served 5 years in the U.S. Army. He retired after 33 years at Lucent Technology. He will be sadly missed. Visitation will be Friday, from 5-8 PM at Grace Memorial Church of Christ in Christian Union 464 Rathmell Rd. Funeral service will be 10 AM Saturday at the Church. Pastor Lee Tabor officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
