Gwendolyn Cottrell of Grove City, formerly of Dayton, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 at the Pinnacle at Summerville after a two year battle with heart failure. She was born in Dayton, daughter of the late Francis and Beulah Crawford Bruner. Gwendolyn is survived by her son, Gary (Carla) Cottrell; grandson, Brian Cottrell; sister, Jacquelyn Bruner. Private services will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Heartland Hospice and Summerville at Pinnacle. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice 6500 Busch Blvd. Suite 210 Columbus, OH 43229. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City.
