Hager "Bill" Russell, 77, loving husband, father, grandfather, retired carpenter, local 200, died August 30, 2008 at Mt. Carmel West. Mr. Russell was born in Magoffin County, KY, on June 22, 1931 to Robert and Sola Russell. In 1951 he married his loving wife June Chenoweth who survives. Survivors also include his son, William (Jenny) Russell; daughter, Melinda (Jay) Richards; grandchildren, Billy, Jincey, and Jacob Russell, Selena and Alyssia Richards; brother, Willis (Pat) Russell; sisters, Dorothy (Sam) Howard, Avanelle Barker, and Anna Hines; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2008 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 11:00AM, visitation will be held one hour prior. Rev. Dennis Robison officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling.
