FLANERY
Harley Flanery, 67, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009. He was born in Robinson Creek, KY on July 17, 1941 to the late Melvin and Katie Flanery. Harley retired from supervising the machine shop at Buckeye Steel after 30 years of service and was a proud member of Amvets and the VFW. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Buster Flanery; and brother in-law Steve Altizer. Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Jewell Flanery; sons, Rodney (Terry) Flanery, Michael "Mike" Flanery, and Roger (Vicky) Flanery; daughter, Patricia "Trish" Price; grandchildren, Joshua Zarella, Cassie Price, Derek and Erika Flanery, Kristen Fink, Austin, Dillon, Abby, and Travis Flanery; brother, Leon (Rosie) Flanery; sister, Phyllis Altizer; sister in-law, Linda Flanery; close friends, Joe Kitchen, Dave Greenhill, Alvin Flanery, Kenny Hager, and Buzz and Debbie Williams. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2009 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 11:00AM at Concord Cemetery, at State Route 665 and Hoover Road in Grove City, Ohio.
