Harold E. Ball, 95, of Columbus, passed away April 11, 2022. Harold was born July 5, 1926 in Honaker, VA to the late Herbert and Virgil (Monk) Ball.
He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. Harold enjoyed hunting, going to garage sales, flea markets, working on Church projects and rehabbing houses for the VA. Harold retired from the N&W Railroad after 33 years.
Harold will be deeply missed by his; children Ramonia (Cecil) Smith, Barbara Ball, Kathleen (Bill) Burkhammer; 9 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren along with many other family and friends.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, wife Myrtle, second wife Juanita, son Leonard, sisters Beulah, Edith and many dear family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 11am until the time of service at 12pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
Burial will be at Northlawn Memory Gardens, where military rites will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice.
