Harold E. Bennett

Harold E. Bennett, 85, passed away on October 26, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Sr. and Elizabeth Bennett; sister, Violet McCaleb; brothers, Forrest, George, and Marion Jr. Bennett; and grandson, Ryan Bennett.
Surviving family includes wife, Mary Lou; son, Terry (fiancé Barb Boesel) Bennett; sister-in-law, Mary Helen Bennett; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Harold served in the Korean Conflict in the United States Army. He was later involved in the VFW and was a Mason. Retired from Brick Masons Local 55.
Harold was an avid golfer and liked attending NASCAR events.
Memorial Service Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 at 4pm with gathering one hour prior at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Pastor Calvin Ray Evans to officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Evangelistic Outreach Ministries, 299 Ohio Ave., New Boston, OH 45662 or the Ryan Bennett Memorial Scholarship Fund, North Central State College Foundation, 2441 Kenwood Circle, Mansfield, OH 44906.
A private burial will take place at Bennett Cemetery in Minford, OH at a later date.
