Harold W. Denney, Jr, age 79 of Grove City, OH, passed away on September 27, 2023. He was born on March 23, 1944 to the late Harold W. Denney Sr and Katherine (Stottler) Denney in Columbus, OH. Along with his parents, Harold was preceded in death by sister Ella Mae Merriman, brother-in-law Danny L. Laverack, sister-in-law Olive Laverack. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Nancy A. Denney, sons Jeffrey (Sharla) Denney and Craig (Anna) Denney, granddaughter Anna M. Denney, brothers-in-law Weldon C. Laverack and Jerry (Maxine) Laverack.
He graduated from South High School in 1964, after graduation he married his high school sweetheart in 1966. Harold served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, was a dedicated employee of The Brownsville Paper Mill until it closed. He loved fishing, tinkering in his garage, hanging out on the front porch with the neighbors and feeding the squirrels. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan. Harold enjoyed taking care of his Koi Pond but his true love was spending time with his family.
