SUMMERS

Harold E. "Sunshine" Summers, 71, Columbus, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Harold was born in Morgantown, WV on September 26, 1940, to Walter and Dorothy (Blosser) Summers and is preceded in death by his parents; son, Cartaz Summers and Phillip, Kristi, and Matthew. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Ann Summers; daughters, Debbie (Fred) Berry, Maysanique Summers; sons, Bob (Jill), Steve (Monica), Glenn, Joey, Sammy, Jayson Summers; brothers, Raymond (Emma) and Charles (Shirley) Summers; grandchildren, Chuck (Jeannine) , Angie , Tony (Lindsey) , James , Jesse, Freddie, Kyle Berry, Jacob, Joe, Jameson, Jacinda Tolliver; Jim, Nick, Michelle, Kevin Summers; great-grandchildren, Amanda ,Parker, Shaun, Tylor, Zach, Kayla, Madison, Brian, Donavan, Anya, Alika; aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Harold served in the US Army and was formerly employed by JI Case Company, Minneapolis-Moline, Railway Express, Bob Singer Ford and owner of Sunshine Trucking, Inc. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012, 4:00 PM at Westerville Community United Church of Christ, 770 County Line Road, Westerville, OH 43082. Visitation will follow the Service. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Church Memorial Fund at WCUCC.
