Harold Ellis Beekman Sr., 82, passed away June 14, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Beekman and daughter, Pam Franey. He is survived by his life partner, Barbara Moore; children, Valerie Beekman of Marion, OH, Harold (Heidi) Beekman of Columbus, OH and Jeff (Jodi) Beekman of Columbus, OH; step-sons, Bobby (Suzie) Moore of FL and Louis Moore of Grove City, OH; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A proud veteran of the Navy, Harold worked for Timken for 39 years. Visitation Friday, June 18, 2010 from 4-7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH. Funeral Service Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Donations may be made in Harold's name to Christ Presbyterian Church, 4220 Cleveland Ave., Columbus, OH 43224.
