Harriett Faith Reichard

Harriett Faith Reichard, 89, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 in New Albany, Ohio.

She was born on February 22, 1933 in Athens, Ohio to the late Arthur and Mary Clark.

Harriett is preceded in death by brothers, Calvin (Anita) Clark and Bill (Carol) Clark.

Harriett is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence Reichard; children, Laura (Paul) Sauer, Larry (Jamie) Reichard; grandchildren, Cori Reichard, Larry Allyn (Amanda) Reichard, Harlan (Bethany) Reichard, Kaci (Levi) Reichard; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Reichard, James Harney, Wyatt Reichard, Leo Reichard, Sophia Puzzini, Peyton Reichard, Max Reichard, Elena Puzzini, Jane Reichard and a host of family and friends.

Faith graduated in 1951 from Mifflin High School and then pursued a degree in Cosmetology. She worked as a beautician in Columbus Ohio until she opened her own shop in New Albany, Faith's Beauty Salon where each grandchild, niece and nephew received their first haircut along with hosting clients until she retired at the young age of 86.

She met her husband, Lawrence, on a blind date and married in 1956. Never leaving each other's side, they recently celebrated their 66 years of marriage.

During her life she read thousands of books, enjoyed ballroom dancing and of course, time with her family

Faith was kind and loving and affectionately known as "Grammy". With her kind heart, her gentle words and those sparkling blue eyes, she always let you know, she was there for you. We will all miss her deeply.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 10:00am to 12:00pm with a funeral service immediately following at 12:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. She will be laid to rest at Maplewood Cemetery.
