CASSEY

Harry P. Cassey ("Hot Horse Harry"), 85, of Grove City, passed away Monday, June 16, 2008 at Pinelake Health and Rehabilitation Center, Carthage, NC. He was born on May 22, 1923 to the late Harry and Christine Cassey in Philadelphia, PA. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his son; Harry Richard Cassey; sister, Dorothy Lewis. Harry served in the United States Army during WWII and worked for 20 years as a horse owner and trainer at Beulah Park. Harry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Irene; daughters, Lynda (Milt) Berry, Deborah (Tony) Badurina; and Leslye (Ralph) Neff; grandchildren, Mark (Lori) Long, Doug (Nikki) Long, Shawn Beach, Stacey (Jeff) Ayers, Frank (January) Haimerl, and Jason Haimerl; several great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; sisters, Marilyn (Ronald) Austin, Arlene Wood, and Ella Kelly; and one brother Jack Cassey. Family will observe private services at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel. Private interment will follow at Grove City, Cemetery.
