Harry James Grimm II, 84, of Columbus, OH went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 18, 2012.
Harry's loving family and Pastor surrounded him at his bedside at Kobacker House. He was a native of Columbus, OH born on November 27, 1927. Harry was an associate Pastor at Christian Life Church, Plain City, OH. By sharing his personal testimony and life experiences, he was committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Good News to all he came in contact with. He was a veteran of World War II and Korea serving in the U.S. Navy and Ohio National Guard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry C. and Mildred (Durstein) and son, Ricky L. He is survived by wife, Julia, loving sister, Kay Kaiser, sons, Harry J. III, Thomas A., Richard W., step-son, Richard B. (Adriane) Sikute, step-daughter, Sherri L. (Dan) Lowe, grandchildren, Quamae, DeShaun, Aliana.
A memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Bud Mulford at Christian Life Church, 221 S. Chillicothe St., Plain City, OH on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 6:00 pm, with fellowship to follow.
Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, Grove City, OH assisted the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Christian Life Church care of Quinton's Love Baskets. Messages of condolence may be shared with family at www.NewcomerColumbus.com.
