Harry E. Snyder, 84, Columbus, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 11, 2007. Born in Mt. Pleasant, OH, Harry served as a Medical Corpsman in the WW II European Theater, retired from Westinghouse and is a member of Good Shepherd Community Church. Harry is preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Margaret "Peggy" Snyder; son, James (Denise) Snyder, Churubusco, IN; grandchildren, Abigail, Nathan, Joshua, and Hannah. Harry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2007, 5-8 PM, at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, 10:00 AM, at the Good Shepherd Community Church, 210 Obetz Road, Columbus, OH. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Dr. William Snider, officiating. Interment will be at the Grove City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Harry's name to Mt. Carmel Hospice c/o Mt. Carmel Foundation, 793 W. State Street, Columbus, OH.
