Harry E. Snyder, 84, Columbus, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 11, 2007. Born in Mt. Pleasant, OH, Harry served as a Medical Corpsman in the WW II European Theater, retired from Westinghouse and is a member of Good Shepherd Community Church. Harry is preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Margaret "Peggy" Snyder; son, James (Denise) Snyder, Churubusco, IN; grandchildren, Abigail, Nathan, Joshua, and Hannah. Harry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2007, 5-8 PM, at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, 10:00 AM, at the Good Shepherd Community Church, 210 Obetz Road, Columbus, OH. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Dr. William Snider, officiating.
