Hearold B. "Chico" Strickland went home to be with the Lord March 20, 2012. He was born June 1, 1942 in Pembroke, NC.
Chico was preceded in death by parents, Clarence Sampson and Rilla Strickland; and siblings, Juanita Strickland-Allen and Bobby Blue. Survivors include his children, Brenda (Robbie) Strickland-Dabbs, Terina, Robin and Eric (Michelle) Strickland; siblings, Patsy (Herley) Sampson-Harris, Cliff (Sally) Sampson, David and Wayne Sampson, Argie (Glen) Locklear, Linda Sampson, Cathy Sampson and Connie Sampson; grandchildren, Shawn, Brad, Travis, Morgan and Darianne; great-grandchildren, Noah and Jonah and numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 with memorial services immediately following at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family at the services.
