elen Suzanne (Suzi) Baringer, 75, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022.
Suzi was born March 6, 1947 in Zanesfield, Ohio to Ernest Guy Van Voorhis and Helen (Quinn) Van Voorhis. Suzi loved drawing and was terrific at free style art, especially her Winnie the Pooh sketches. Suzi was also quite proud of her 30 plus years of sobriety.
Suzi was one of twelve children and will be deeply missed by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest Guy Van Voorhis, Helen VanVoorhis Ferner, and Eugene Ferner; brothers Tom Van Voorhis, Dave (Dorothy) Van Voorhis, Bud (Sue) Van Voorhis, George Van Voorhis; sisters, Lois (Dave) Rushworth, Jane (Max) Stewart, Alice (Butch) McGlone.
She is survived by her daughter, Brandi (John) Frame and their three children; her sisters Mary (Bob) Carrino, Penny Evans and Vikki (Oscar) Alderman; and brother Tim Van Voorhis, as well as many, many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Per Suzi's request, there will be no service.
We would like to thank Dublin Methodist Hospital for all their care and kindness during Suzi's illness. We would also like to thank everyone at Darby Glenn Nursing and Rehab Center in Hilliard, Ohio. Darby was Suzi's residence for the last 20 months and we could not have selected a better facility for her. She called Darby her home and, although she at times could be "quite a challenge", she was loved by her Darby family and caregivers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation or Diabetes Foundation.
