Helen L. Gill

Helen Lawyer Gill, 94, New Albany, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 9, 2012. Helen was born in Cincinnati. OH on February 4, 1918, to the late Harvey and Grace Lawyer.

She graduated from The Ohio State University, were she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority, Browning Drama Society and Links. Helen taught elementary education for 35 years in the Columbus, OH School System. More recently, Helen was a member of Central College Presbyterian Church of Westerville, Star Dusters Dance Club, where she and her husband were past officers, and members of Gahanna Senior Bridge Club.

Besides her parents, Helen is preceded in death by an infant son; sister, Jean Reppert; brother-in-law, Dick Reppert; young brother, Dick Lawyer. Survivors include her husband, Vincent Gill; nephew, Don Reppert; sister-in-law, Anita(Chester) Croce plus many loved relatives.

Memorial Service will be held at Central College Presbyterian Church, Ellsworth Chapel, 975 South Sunbury Road, Westerville, OH on Thursday, September 20, 2012, 11:00 AM with visitation from 10:30 – 11:00 AM. Reverend David Redding will officiate. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish, may contribute to Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, OH 43058-0430.
