Helen V. Lee, age 92, went home to her Savior Tuesday, June 15, 2010. She was born July 23, 1917, in Ambridge, PA, daughter of the late Simon and Frances Narkevich. Helen retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lee; great grandson, Michael Herbert. Helen is survived by her daughter, Eva (Ike) Eickstaedt of Columbus; sister, Frances Reed of Whitehall; brother, Al Narkevich of Dawson, PA; grandsons, Ron (Wendy) Herbert, Ralph Herbert, Randy (Liz) Herbert and Rusty Herbert all of Columbus. She had nine surviving great grandchildren. Three special couples who were dear to her, Larry and Barbara Carley, Wade and Lyn Riley and Nathan and Donna Wiley; her best friend, Mary Bateson who she enjoyed fishing in Canada with for 50 years; Dave and Mary Fail. Helen leaves many wonderful friends from the "Doll" world that she was involved with for so many years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Grove City. Many special thanks to Pastor Ray for all of his support. The family cannot thank HomeReach Hospice enough for their many years of expertise. Visitation will be Friday, June 18, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
