Helen M. Flood, 71, Columbus, passed away Sunday March 21, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. Helen was born in Columbus to the late Leo and Lola (Brooks) Davis. Survivors include her daughter, Helen McCoy; son, Dwaine "Lee" Davis; sister, Donna "Susie" Martin; aunt, Jean (Don) Hill; grandchildren, Lauren, Leslie, Jacob, Joshua, Jared, Joel; great-grandchildren, Lola, Luke, Bella, Josh, Amberlynn, Nathan, Leila, Sophia. Helen was a member of the West Park United Methodist Church and the Salvation Army. She enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends at Cherry Blossom Senior Apts. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2010, 5-6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Memorial Service at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice, 793 West State Street, Columbus, OH 43222. Special thanks to Liz, Kristi and Sherri.
