Henrietta (Henri) Charlene Elzey, (nee Schmidt), 74, of Hilliard, OH passed away Saturday January 16th 2021 at her home. Henri was born November 2, 1946 in Highland Heights, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl Marie (Schweitzer) Schmidt and William Henry Schmidt, Husband, Warren Dale Elzey, Sister, Rosemary Clark, and Brother, Phil Schmidt. Henri is survived by her daughter, Tisa (Mike) Herman, granddaughter Marlee Murray and grandson Dalton Murray, great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Jo Murray, her brothers Earl (Debbie) Schmidt and Don (Cortlyn) Schmidt, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Henri used to work at Robertshaw Controls and retired from Tomasco. She loved spending time with her family. She loved taking her great-grandkids to the park fountains to play in, going to the pool in the summer and taking walks on the trails by her house. Henri loved to go out with her friends to listen to Bluegrass music, she loved collecting crock pottery, and she had to make sure she had her coffee in the mornings before doing anything with anyone. She loved her Sunday nights with her daughter and great grandkids that spent the nights, playing and watching Dateline with her daughter after the kids went to bed. She loved her Kentucky family dearly and would always love getting together and playing cards. Henri loved sports. She loved her Ohio State Buckeyes Football team and her true blue love for her Kentucky Wildcats Basketball team. Go Big Blue!
Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 is in charge of arrangements. There will be no funeral service per her request.
