On September 27, 2011, Henry D. Slevin, 94, passed away a few hours after Norma, his wife of 70 years, said her final good-bye at his bedside. Hank, a native of Pittsburgh, PA, was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, and 2 of his 3 sisters. Hank is survived by his wife, Norma, whom he met while attending Wittenberg University, daughter Barbara Aber of Cumberland, MD, and son Reed Slevin of Westerville, OH. Hank and Norma have several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Sympathy notes can be sent to Norma care of her son Reed Slevin at 6030 Sunlawn Drive, Westerville, OH, 43081. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to dementia research or a local hospice.
