Herbert Boucher, 89, of Orient, went to be with the Lord January 27, 2009 at Mt. Carmel West. He was born September 27, 1919, in Franklin County, son of the late Clarence and Rose Leach Boucher. In addition to his parents, Herbert was preceded in death by his brothers, Clifford and Raymond Boucher; favorite uncle, John R. Whitney. He served in the Navy and Marines during WWII and the Korean Conflict and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Herbert is survived by his wife, Mae Jones Boucher; sons, Kurt and Gary (Tami) Boucher; daughter, Diane (Noel) Vega; grandchildren, Kyle, Korey, Jeremy, Joshua, James and Grace. Visitation will be Sunday, February 1, 2009 from 2:00-5:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be Monday, February 2, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Fellowship Baptist Church, 4701 Winchester Pike, Columbus. Interment will be Maplewood Cemetery.
