Herbert W. Vick 81 of Grove City passed away June 2, 2006 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. He was born on June 7, 1925 in Columbus, to the late John and Mary Vick. He was a lifelong member of St. John's Church 59 E. Mound Street; member of the I.O.O.F Lodge # 327 for more than 50 years, and was retired from Westinghouse. Left to cherish his memory, Wife of 48 years, Ethel (Parr) Vick ; Nieces and Nephews, Phil (Karen) Rohr, Nancy McDaniel, Tom (Thelma) Rohr, John Vick, Judy (Jim) McDonald, Larry Vick, Cindy Willis, Fred Vick, and Jeff (Geordie) Miller; Sisters-in-law and Brother-in-law, Sarah Board, Mary (Don) Hardman, Mildred Sutton, and Emmett (Helen) Parr; along with a very dear Cousin, Marilyn (Merritt) Lindig ; and his many friends with the Dart Ball team at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Lockbourne. Herbert is preceded in death by Parents; Three Brothers, Art, Jim, and Amos; Sisters, Elsie and Esther. Family will receive friends on Monday, June 5, 2005 from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. at the Newcomer Funeral Home S.W. Chapel 3393 Broadway Avenue, Grove City. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Andrew's UM Church, 1210 20th Street Parkersburg, W.V. with Nephew Rev. John Hardman officiating.
