Herbert E. Walls, 85, of Columbus, passed away January 31, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Hazel Walls; brothers, Blaine, Robert, Howard and Paul Jr. Walls. Herbert is survived by his sisters, Doris Crist, June Staples, Gerri (Craig) Ford, Hazel (Stuart) Stevens; brothers, Dale Walls, Raymond (Doris) Walls, Ronald (Thelma) Walls, Kenneth Walls; sister-in-law, Jenny Walls; good friends in Alaska, Brian and Vicky Leffingwell and numerous nieces and nephews. Herbert was a World War II Veteran serving with the United States Army. He was decorated with 5 Battle Stars, Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. Herbert was also a member of Veterans of Battle of the Bulge. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00PM Friday, February 2, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Graveside services will be held 10:00AM Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Wesley Chapel Cemetery 3225 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, Ohio 43026. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
