Herman Harold Gothard, 65, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Herman was born in Gallipolis, OH on July 14, 1945, to Herman and Alice (Clark) Gothard and is preceded in death by his father; sisters, Dorothy Fraley and Linda Gothard; brother, Roger Gothard; former wife, Nancy Gothard. Survivors include his mother, Alice Gothard; sons, Dennis (Rhonda) Haines, Donald and David Haines; sisters, Mary (Richard) Thompson, Eva (Tim) Chapman, Faye (Bill) Chapman; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends. Herman retired from Graybar Electric, worked at C.O.E. and was still in the electric field at the time of his death. Herman was a family man and will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Blendon Central Cemetery, Westerville, OH.
