With most profound sorrow, we announce that Hoormazd Javidbakht, age 17, our most beloved son, brother, family member, and friend, passed on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Hoormazd was born in Dayton, Ohio, to loving parents Arezou Eizadynejad and Saeid Javidbakht.
Hoormazd was very affectionate and loved giving hugs and kisses. Hoormazd worked hard toward his goals. He attended Olentangy Liberty High School, where he enjoyed running for his school's cross-country team, singing in the chorus, playing soccer, spending time with friends and family, and playing video games in his free time. Hoormazd also loved going for runs and loved animals, especially dogs.
Hoormazd will be missed by his parents, Saeid Javidbakht and Arezou Eizadynejad; his sister, Ahura Javidbakht; his grandmothers, Soghra Joghatayee and Manijeh Mirali; uncles and aunts, Ebrahim Javidbakht, Omid Eizadynejad, Azadeh Eizadynejad, Ali Javidbakht, Zahra Javidbakht, Elham Eizadynejad, Iman Eizadynejad and multiple extended family members and friends.
Hoormazd brought so much love and joy into our lives, and he was known as a hugger, reflecting his warmth and affection for those around him. Hoormzad will always be remembered for his gentleness, grace, and kindness toward others. He always looked out for others and would put others before himself.
Hoormazd will touch countless others forever through the selfless gift of his organs. Those who know Hoormazd, even just a little, will miss his shining light on their lives.
The family will greet loved ones from 1-3 pm on Sunday, April 7, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, Ohio, 43065, with a service starting at 3 pm.
