Howard A. Hartley, Sr., 89 of Columbus, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on September 22, 2016. Born on December 5, 1926 to the late Alton Henry and Josephine (Norris) Hartley in Portland, IN. Survived by children Howard Hartley, Jr. and Kathy (David) Collins, grandchildren Bill Cochran, Brian (Dr. Julie) Cochran, Hannah Collins, Emily (Ronnie) Levy, Nathan (Elizabeth) Hartley, Michael (Tiffany) Hartley and Stephen (Heather) Hartley, 12 great grandchildren, sister Ann Malcolm and loving companion Donna Pickett. Preceded in death by wife Joan Hartley, daughter Cindy Cochran, brother Joe Hartley.
Friends may call at Northwest Chapel Grace Brethren, 6700 Rings Rd, Dublin, Ohio 43016 on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 3pm until time of service at 5pm.
Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Bluffton, IN on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 2pm.
