Howard Lloyd Gorman II, 62, passed away August 23, 2012 at his home. He was born August 7, 1950 in Columbus, OH to Howdy and Irene Gorman. In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his brother, Tom.

He is survived by his loving wife, Denise; daughters, Dawn (John) Linthicum and Stefanie (Tim) Cooper; step-children, Collin and Emily Clemons; siblings, Jim (Mary) Bradford and Pamela (Lee) Closson; grandchildren, Nicholas, Erica, Michael, Blake and Gabrielle; nephews, Scott (Vickie) Closson and their children, Tiffaney and Trenton and Travis Closson; niece, Stephanie Sheppard; and Nermal.

He was a dedicated service advisor for Dan Tobin Buick GMC and previously employed at Saturn of Columbus and Sears Automotive. Howard was an avid NASCAR, Jeff Gordon fan, loved Coca-Cola and most of all loved life and his family.

Visitation Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 3-7 pm with Funeral Service at 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH.

COLORFUL ATTIRE IS REQUESTED.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Howard's memory to the American Heart Association, Great Rivers Affiliate, P.O. Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693-5120.
