Howard Knowles

"Howard Knowles, 88, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his home on February 4th, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born on October 23, 1935.
He is preceded in death by his parents William Clarence Knowles and Murdies Knowles, brother Robert Knowles and granddaughter Candy-o Knowles. Howard is survived by his wife Martha Knowles, children William Knowles, Debbie Knowles, Clarence Knowles, Derrick (Leanna) Knowles, Justin Nathaniel Knowles, grandchildren Sharona Knowles, Lenora Knowles, Derrick (Amanda) Knowles, Taylor (Todd) Marier, Jaylynn Knowles, Justin Knowles, several great grandchildren, and along with many friends.

Howard served in the United States Marine Corps and was extremely proud to serve his country. He worked for the United States Postal Services for 35 years where he retired and then worked for the Columbus City School Board as a bus driver for another 20 years where he also retired. He was also a real estate agent and insurance salesman. Howard was also a dedicated member of the Freemason Society and donated to several organizations throughout his life. Howard was the ultimate family man and enjoyed spending time with family and friends and reminiscing on the wonderful life that he lived.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Funeral services will be held directly after at 4:00pm. Burial will follow on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024 at Dayton National Cemetery to immediate family.
