Howard Montgomery passed away on 11/17/22 following an illness. He was born in Guyan Township in Gallia County on 11/27/1956, the son of John and Irene Montgomery. He graduated from Hannan Trace High School in 1974 and later achieve his certificate in Construction Management.
He was a retired union carpenter and last worked as a construction inspector for HR Gray/Haskell Company. He was a husband, father and grand Pawpaw. He loved music, fishing and the outdoors.
He is survived by his spouse, Joyce Montgomery, children, Nathan and Wendy Montgomery and beloved granddaughter, Kambria, all of Grove City, OH. He has one surviving sister and brother-in -law, Margaret and Jerry Myers of Gallipolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Fran Phillips, Janet Allen, Barb Branham, brothers, Jerry and Robert Montgomery and grandson, Keenan Volosky.
There will be no service at this time, but a celebration of his life will be arranged at a later date. Cremation is being conducted by Newcomer Funeral Home in Grove City, OH.
