Hubert Ratliff

Hubert "Bugs" E. Ratliff, 73, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at St. Ann's.
Bugs was born April 17, 1942 in Portsmouth, son of the late Clarence and Rebecca Rigsby Ratliff.
He served in the Army during Vietnam and retired from Liebert with 30 years of service.
Bugs was a member of Sharon Woods Baptist Church.
He was also a lifelong fan of the Cincinnati Reds.
Bugs is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Judy Conley Ratliff; daughter, Cheryl (Glen) Strong; son, Jeff (Melissa) Ratliff; brother, Ron (Faye) Ratliff; grandchildren, Kyrstin Ratliff, Ryan Strong, Trent Strong, Matthew Ratliff and Chase Strong.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the memorial service beginning at 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation.
