Hugh D. Pyle, 79, of Columbus, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. Son of Albert and Mae A. (Perry) Pyle, Hugh was born in Brooklyn, NY on May, 11,1929. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris Jean (Gregory) Pyle; brother, Earl Mosely. Survivors include his daughter, Michelle D. (Saeed Kadi) Pyle; son, Walter D. Pyle; sister, Delores (Lyle) Small; brother, William (Sarah) Mosely; grandchildren, Kayla Pyle, Christopher Pyle, Joshua Kadi, Janiya Kadi; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Hugh was a veteran of the US Army, worked for the State of Ohio for 25 years in a supervisory position and was a 33rd Degree Mason. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2009, 10 AM to 12 PM at the Advent United Church of Christ, 2302 North Cassady Avenue, Columbus, OH 43219, with the Funeral Service to follow at 12 PM. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
