Illona Vanko Sutton

Illona Vanko Sutton, age 77, of Columbus, Ohio passed away suddenly on June 5, 2024. She was born on October 14, 1946 to the late Theodore Vanko and Ruby Vorhies in Columbus, Ohio.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandmother, Ana Vanko, and her sister, Joanne.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Angela (Kenneth) Maupin, Amy (Donald) Stamper, Jason (Christine) Sutton, and Andrea (Michael) Sutton, 11 grandkids, 9 great-grandkids, and her siblings, Reva, Neva, Rose, Eddie, and Dave, and her cousin Penny.

Illona was retired from Franklin County Children's Services.

Family and friends may call on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Newcomer SW Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 from 4:00pm-6:00pm for calling hours with a funeral service starting at 6:00pm with Pastor Danny Bentley officiating.
