Irene C. Stackpole, 85, Galena, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013. Irene was born in New Boston, OH on January 3, 1928, to Joseph and Edna (Smith) Blair and is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James Pierce; son, Marvin Pierce and 3 sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Richard C. Stackpole; daughters, Wanda (Larry) Scarberry, Teresa Lynn Ratliff, Tammy Sue Stackpole; sons, Leonard Miller, Richard C Jr., David Franklin, Raymond Scott Stackpole; brother, Melvin (Sylvia) Blair; 8 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2013, 2-5PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Monday, January 21, 2013, 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Sunbury Memorial Park.
