Irene L. Nelson, 60 of Pataskala, passed away at her residence on December 15, 2016. She was born on December 28, 1955 to the late Charles and Jeanette (Carson) Harry in Miami, FL. Survived by husband of 35 years James Nelson, daughter Tiffany (Jason) Smeltzer, grandchildren Ezekiel and Zaiah Smeltzer, brothers Charles, Pete (Rosin), Lee (Pam) and John (Lisa) Harry and sister-in-law Cathy Nelson. Preceded in death by brother-in-law Richard Nelson and sister-in-law Donna Mundy.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 11am until time of service at 1pm. Burial to follow at Jersey Cemetery, Pataskala, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society, 5555 Frantz Rd., Dublin, OH 43017.
