Irene Ellen Salmons, age 88, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Salmons; parents, John Hargis and Clara (Sharp) Hargis; son, Mark Salmons; sister, Arlena Lyons; brother, John Hargis; sister in law, Francis Hargis. She is survived by her son, James (Nancy) Salmons; brother, William Hargis; grandchildren, Erin (Jason) Schultz, Lauren (Cody) Allen, Zachary Salmons; numerous great grandchildren; daughter in law, Marjorie Salmons. Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery. A woman who truly embodied the words of life, love, and family! She will be truly missed but will always live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
