Irene Spitler

Irene Spitler, 67, of Columbus, OH, passed away on July 26, 2015. She was born on March 5, 1948. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Gladys Maynard and sibling, Marci Bertling.

Surviving family includes husband, Ben, daughters, Lori (David) Rowland, Buffey Barry, grandson, James Barry, step-sons, Jeff Spitler and Benjamin Lee Spitler, siblings, Emma (Robert) Rivas, Nona (Jesse) Cervantez, Harlan (Debbie) Maynard, Gene (Melody) Maynard, Gregg (Lou) Porter, Jim (Ida) Porter, and great-niece, Destiny Paige Bailey.

Visitation will be held from 4-7pm, Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.

A funeral service will be held at 10am, Thursday, July 30, 2015. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Mt. Carmel Hospice.
