Isaac graduated from Central High School Columbus, Ohio in 1962. He excelled in baseball with a batting average of 595. Isaac had a tryout with the Pittsburgh Pirates farm team, and was offered a position, however he chose a different path in life. Isaac worked for the city of Columbus refuge division. He retired as a supervisor after 32 years. Isaac through the years coached little league baseball, girls basketball, and softball leagues, which he loved doing. He spent hours going to his childrens games, and practices, because he loved the game and he loved watching his children and grandchildren play. He was however never a spectator. He preferred to be an analyst of the game and foremost always a coach and teaching the game. Isaac was good at solving problems. He always could figure out a solution, no matter how trying and complicated. He was always our Go to Guy. Isaac loved all animals. His dogs and cats will miss him terribly, and he joins his favorite dog, Dasher the Dachshund in heaven. Isaac loved to play golf particularly with his boys, as he loved competition. He loved politics passionately, old tv shows, baseball (Cincinnati Reds) football (Cleveland Browns) basketball (Cleveland Cavaliers) and making his infamous biscuits and sausage gravy. He loved to travel especially in recent years to Surfside Beach, South Carolina, with Elaine and their dogs. Many past memories of camping in the RV at Myrtle Beach State Park were always a table of discussion for fun and laughter. Isaac liked to tinker around the house, garden, and spend time with his children and grandchildren. He was kind to everyone and he believed everyone should be treated with respect. He never knew a stranger. He was always generous with his time. He will be missed by all, and he leaves this world a better place due to his legacy he created for all those around him while he graced this earth.
In lieu of flowers consider a donation to your favorite animal charity or Autism Speaks in Isaac’s memory.
