John "Robert" Park, 85, of Hilliard Ohio, passed away September 12, 2015. He was born September 1, 1930, in New Concord, Ohio, to Alfred J. and Marjorie (McCormac) Park.
He was a 1955 Graduate of Muskingum College and a retiree from Ohio Bell/AT&T, with over 40 years of service. He was also a long time member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Downtown Columbus.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Jodelle (nee Lanman), brother, Richard, and nephew, William.
Surviving are his daughters, Mindi (John) Kell, and Melynie (Keith) Burkhart, grandchildren, John Alexander and Chrysten Kell, sister in law, Lauretta Park, nieces, nephews, many friends, and the staff and residents of the Laurels of Hilliard Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hilliard, OH.
Friends may call on Monday September 21, 2015, beginning at 5:00pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH., 43123. A memorial service will follow at 6:30pm.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Sterling Public Library, 60 W. Columbus St., Mt. Sterling, OH., 43143.
