Jack Adkins, 72, of Gahanna, passed away Monday, November 29, 2010 at Mt. Carmel East. He was born September 17, 1938, in Elliott, KY, son of the late Ray Adkins and Ines W. Whitley Rhodes. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his cousin, Curtis Ferguson. He is survived by his caregiver and friend, Loretta Thomas; beloved dog, Nicki and many cousins and friends. Visitation will be Friday, December 3, 2010 from 10:30-12:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd Columbus, with the funeral service beginning at 12:30 PM.
