Jack Chester Gibbs Sr., 67, of Columbus, passed away July 11, 2021. Jack was born October 13, 1953 in Columbus, OH to Earl and Barbara (Porter) Gibbs. He proudly served in the United States Army. Jack was an active member of Faith Ministry Church. Jack will be deeply missed by his wife Jean of 45 years; children Latisha (Robert Sr.) Gibbs-Banks, Jack (Faailoa) Gibbs Jr., Tammy (Shawn) Jones-Searcy, Justin Jones, TeNasha Jones; grandchildren Robert Jr., Sarai, Alesana, Polavani, JaMezz, Cytia, Kyara, Nicole, James, Alexis; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Earlene Gibbs along with many other family and friends. Jack was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 2pm until the time of service at 3pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus where military rights will be held.
