Jack William Ivie, 76, Columbus, departed this life on March 28, 2013 at his daughter's home, Nancy (Scoonie) Penn. Jack was born in Dyer, TN on May 29, 1936.
He was a retired business owner and served in the Air Force (Korean War). Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy B. Nobleton and father, Joe W. Ivie. Survived by children, Bernard Bobbitt, Gena Ivie, Sheryl (Emory) Thomas, James Proffitt, Monty (Janon) Cox, Nancy (Scoonie) Penn, Connie Ivie-Wright, Ella Ivie; host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Friday, April 5, 2013, 12:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service.
