Jack Lett, 85, went to be with the Lord August 8, 2011. He was born March 9, 1926 to the late Noble and Lemonne Lett. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 64, years, Jeanne (Postle); children, Jim (Pam) Lett, Connie (Greg) Rice, Dan and Tim Lett; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Miriam (Louis) Schoettle; and many other family members. Jack was a veteran of WWII, graduated from The Ohio State University Law School and was later awarded a Juris Doctorate. He served his community as an attorney for over 60 years. Jack was a member of Grove City United Methodist Church, the Ohio Bar Association, Columbus Athletic Club, Masonic Order, SPEBSQSA, and was also the Assistant Clerk of the Ohio Senate for many years. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 12, 2011 at 10 am at the Grove City United Methodist Church, 2650 Columbus St., Grove City, OH. Pastor Dennis Miller will officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's memory to Shriners Hospitals for Children®, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Drive,Tampa, FL 33607 or the charity of one's choice.
