Jack Little, 99, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 in Hilliard, Ohio.
Jack was born in Mariba, KY on October 16, 1923 to the late Asa Reed and Kyla (Ledford) Little.
Jack is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years Lucinda Little; siblings, AR, Raymond and Dixie.
He is survived by his devoted children; Terry (Ginny), Sharon (Pat); grandchildren, Ashley (Anthony), Amanda, Chance (Shelby), Emily (Adam), Zak (Arica), Heather (Gaetano); great grandchildren, Luca, Gio, Frank, Patrick, Vito, Dugan, Zoe, Sophie, Michael, Kyla; sister, Edith Wells; sister-in-law, Dottie Eldridge; brothers-in-law, Albert (Wanda) Eldridge, Eddie (Rhonda) Russell; nephews and nieces, Kevin, Ben, Dennis (Marilyn), Kenny, Roger, Rick, Greg, Jerry, Waltz, Tom, Tim Little, Tim (Marilyn) Campbell, Johnny (Nancy) Ratliff, Karen, Cecilia, Lou, Marla, Tina, Gail; as well as many additional extended family and friends.
Jack was born on farm in Mariba, Kentucky where he was raised until his family relocated to Frenchburg, Kentucky. After graduating High School he was drafted at the age of 19 into the United States Army in 1943. While serving in the Army he was trained as a B17 bomber flight engineer, where he learned everything from being a pilot to navigation and operations as a mechanic. He served in World War II, and finalized his duties in 1946; having been discharged with the Victory Medal (World War II), Good Conduct Medal, and the American Theater Ribbon.
Upon discharge he met the love of his life Lucinda, of their 65 years of marriage they had two children, Sharon and Terry.
Post his military service he worked at National Cash Register in Dayton, Ohio, then North American Aviation in Columbus, Ohio before taking up Barbaring. He retired after 40 years of Barbering leaving a legacy of having two shops serving the Columbus Area.
Jack was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and drinking Pepsi!
