Jack Dale Moore, fondly known as “Karaoke Jack”, passed away peacefully at his home on May 28, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on August 21, 1938, in Columbus Ohio, Jack was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Jack married the love of his life, Sandra McClary Moore, and they shared 59 wonderful years together. Known for his generous spirit and love for people, Jack had a unique way of spreading joy. He delighted in inviting others to sing with him and was famous for gifting his karaoke CDs and flashlights.
Jack’s story telling, giving nature, and love for his family, animals, and nature made him a tender soul to all who knew him. He was a devoted member of Faith Covenant Church and enjoyed socializing and playing cards at the Blendon and Westerville Senior Centers.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Sarah Moore, his daughter Cindy Moore, and his granddaughter, Simone Willis. He leaves behind his brother Jim Moore (Mary) and sister Sallie Ray, and Cindy’s partner Bill Francis.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Mindy Rafferty (Mike), Melissa Willis, and Jeannine Moore (Eric), his eight grand children, Tonya Conrad (Ed) , Scott Michael Huff, Tyler Briscoe, Tara Briscoe, Gabriella Willis, Marissa Willis, Sydney Robare, and Ainsley Robare. Jack also leaves behind five great-grandchildren: Samantha, Gauge, Jordan, Josiah, and Jovani, along with many other friends and family members who will miss him dearly.
A Celebration of Life Service will be June 6, 2024 with visitation hours between 4:30pm to 6:00pm. The service will be at 6:00pm. Visitation hours and Service will be held at Newcomer’s funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice 360 in Jack’s memory. His memory will be in our hearts forever. The Newcomer Family is honored to serve the Moore family.
