Jack R. Ridge, 77, of Grove City, passed away October 16, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Margaret Ridge; son, Stephen Ridge; parents, Charles and Gettie (Graham) Ridge; brothers, Everett, Clinton, Walter, Stanley; sisters, Marcella Hoffman, Laura May McCall, Helen Harper and Mabel "Lucy" Kruse. Jack is survived by his son, John Charles Ridge; sister, Frances Hostetler; fiance, Peggy James; nieces, Kim (Ridge) Burroughs, Julie Graber and a host of other family and friends. Jack was retired from the United States Air Force after 26 years of service including duty during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was also retired from the US Post Office after 18 years of service. He was a lifetime Buckeye fan and supporter, avid golfer and enjoyed being a youth athletics coach. Jack was a 50 year member of the Masons and the Scottish Rite. Funeral services will be held 12:00PM Thursday, October 19, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until time of services. Interment will be at Grove City Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
