Jack W. DeBoard, 77, of Columbus, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. Born to Robert and Cleo (Layne) DeBoard on December 9, 1931, Jack is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Cleo Sharp, Vicki Wright and Marie Norwood. Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Alice Joy (Littleton) DeBoard; daughters, Robbyne (Tim) Chaney and Becky (Billy) Creasap; sons, Jack "Randy" DeBoard and Rick (Connie) DeBoard; sisters, Margaret Ezell, Lula Cisco and Dottie Gunning; brothers, Charles (Mary) DeBoard and Robert (Wanda) DeBoard; grandchildren, Jackie Chaney, T.J. Chaney, Kathleen Creasap, William Creasap, Cameron DeBoard and Brandon DeBoard; aunts, Joan Lewis and Betty Stout; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and faithful canine companion, "Lacy". Jack was retired from Kroger Bakery after 40 years of service. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
