Mrs. Jacquelyn R. (Davis) May, age 52, began her journey with the Angels on October 21st, 2022.
Jakki, as she was affectionately known by, was born in Columbus, OH, on May 29, 1970 to her mother, Norma Davis and her late father, William Davis.
She is also preceded in death by her son, William Darrell Davis and her brother, William "PeeWee" Davis Jr.
Left to treasure a legacy of precious memories are her devoted husband, James May; children, Randell Hines, Andrea Griffin, James May Jr., Ricky Holloway; grandchildren, Amya, Randell Jr. Ayden, Navaya, Ambrielle, Raquel, Kevieon, Ivanna, Ricky Jr., Kaline; siblings, Leonard (Binky) Davis, LeAnn Davis; godson, Eric Calvin Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, family in Ohio, Tennessee and Kentucky.
Jakki lived her life to the fullest and was always full of jokes and laughter. Her world revolved around her children, grandchildren, and the many patients she assisted at Nationwide Children's Hospital for 20+ years and Riverside Methodist Hospital for 23+ years.
We will treasure and remember her big smile, gentle heart, loving sarcasm and her sense of humor. She will be missed, never forgotten and forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022 from 12pm - 1pm followed by a Homegoing Service at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus - OH 43231. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery, 1340 Woodland Ave. Repast will be held at the Elks Lounge 1593 E. Livingston Ave at 5:30 pm.
